Unique Marine Ecosystems
The Earth is home to a rich variety of ecosystems, each defined by its own unique features and biodiversity. In total, there are seven distinct types of ecosystems, ranging from lush forests to arid deserts. Yet, marine environments dominate the planet, covering 70% of its surface. Despite their vast expanse, only 5% of the ocean’s depths have been explored, leaving much of this underwater world a mystery. [1]

Our firsthand experiences have revealed the profound impact of our unsustainable consumption on a global scale. Without effective conservation efforts, the wildlife we've witnessed could face near-extinction within just a few decades. It's vital that we understand the consequences of our actions and honor our commitment to transitioning away from fossil fuels, as we promised at COP28, in order to prevent this grim reality.

The Antarctic Peninsula
